Private Dentistry Award gives Amarjit Gill something new to smile about

Dr Amarjit Gill BDS received the coveted title of ‘Outstanding Contribution to Private Dentistry’ at the prestigious Private Dentistry Awards 2012.

Held earlier this month at the London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel, the annual Private Dentistry Awards recognise the very best in the private sector of dentistry.

Commenting on Amarjit’s well-deserved win, Ken Finlayson, CEO of awarding organisation FMC, stated: ‘Amarjit Gill is a highly popular and immensely energetic figurehead in the dental community.

‘He runs a thriving practice in Nottingham and has been vociferously active in the political halls of the British Dental Association, leading the push to have private dentistry better represented in both Wimpole Street and Whitehall.

‘Amarjit is a terrifically positive, persuasive man and has been an absolute delight to work with over many years.’

After collecting the award to much applause, Amarjit said: ‘I am honoured to be recognised by my colleagues’.

‘Recognition like this makes me want to do more, so I won’t be resting on my laurels. I very much look forward to augmenting my clinical work with the launch of a new national mobile service, taking dentistry to those who are underserved, in the New Year.’
